Domaine François Villard

The wine domaine was created from scratch in 1989 by François Villard, who is still at its helm today. The domaine now has over 40 hectares of vines, supplemented by some bought-in grapes, and produces around 400,000 bottles a year. All the work in the vines is carried out by hand and the domaine has been officially certified organic since August 2022. Throughout the year the vines receive constant attention and great care is taken to preserve these special terroirs. The harvesting date is decided on a plot-by-plot basis to ensure that each bunch of grapes is picked at perfect maturity.
