Domaine Pierre Finon is a family-owned wine domaine nestling on the hillside overlooking the right-hand side of the Rhône Valley, between Valence and Lyon. The domaine currently covers 20 hectares, including 7 hectares devoted to red and white Saint-Joseph, 6.5 hectares to Vins de Pays and 0.5 hectares to Condrieu.
The domaine is managed sustainably by Pierre, Héloïse and Françoise, who are committed to eco-friendly winegrowing. This means respecting the soil and the vine’s growth cycle through the use of controlled natural grass cover, ploughing, rigorous de-budding and green harvesting. This approach ensures that the wines are of the highest quality.
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted. The aim is to allow each grape variety to express itself freely throughout the vinification and ageing processes thereby revealing the quality potential of the grapes and their terroir.
Whether they be red or white wines, quaffing wines or wines for laying down, the domaine’s objective is the same: to create authentic wines that are true to their terroir and the domaine’s ethos.
