Famille Garon

With five centuries of history in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie vineyards to its name, our family perpetuates a tradition that began in 1475 with Jean Garon, the first winegrower born in Ampuis. Since then, the family’s story has continued, and we started producing our Condrieu “La Vieille Maison” in 2017. The wine’s name refers to the ancient house standing in the heart of our domaine. In 2022, we created a wine from our finest terroirs in homage to our mother, Carmen. This wine is a nod to Carmen’s childhood. A true native of Condrieu, as a child she preferred exploring the streets and courtyards of Condrieu rather than attending school! Devoted to our age-old terroirs, we strive to produce authentic wines that reflect the unique characteristics of our soils and microclimates.
