Domaine Stéphane Ogier is a story of a family and a passion. Rooted in Ampuis for many generations, my family has always worked in the Côte-Rôtie vineyards. When I took over from my father Michel in 1998, I decided to work our various terroirs with great care and precision to bring out the unique character of these places steeped in history. Côte-Blonde, But de Mont, Lancement, Côte-Rôzier, Champon, Besset… our vineyards are a patchwork of plots in the heart of Côte-Rôtie, where the diversity of soils and the Rhône Valley’s most northerly climate lend the wines incredible finesse. Paying close attention to the vines, we strive to bring out and showcase the typical elegance of this AOC. The range we offer is therefore true to our roots and, for us, represents the culmination of a long history combined with the hard work carried each and every day.
